Our mission is to support future abortion care providers and advocate for reproductive justice globally. We believe that all people should have access to health services that allow them to lead safe, healthy lives including all aspects of sexual and reproductive health consistent with their own personal and cultural values.
WE ARE COMMITTED TO ADVANCING REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE THROUGH EDUCATION, ADVOCACY, AND CLINICAL EXPOSURE.
Responsible for fostering relationships with the local community and organizing SOM-wide volunteering events for the student body. Creates recruiting materials and organizes volunteer sign-ups and logistics. Works with campus representatives for any campus-specific initiatives.
Produces a quarterly newsletter to update the student body on relevant reproductive health-related legislation, educate the student body about family planning-related data, and feature events and opportunities for student engagement at the chapter, local, state, and national level.
Works alongside faculty members to update and expand family planning content in SOM medical curriculum, including the Family Planning and Reproductive Health selective.
